The new seven-seat layout is offered exclusively on the Model Y Premium Long Range All-Wheel Drive and commands a £2,500 premium over the regular five-seater, taking the price to £54,490. Tesla quotes a maximum range of up to 372 miles. The new seven-seater follows the introduction of the lower-cost £41,990 Rear-Wheel Drive Model Y and the range-topping Model Y Performance version over the past year, broadening the car’s reach across different types of buyer. At the heart of the update is two forward-facing chairs designed to fold flat into the floor when not in use.
