SpaceX KF-01 launch webcast begins
Update 2:18 a.m.: SpaceX's Amazon Project Kuiper launch webcast is now posted above, right below our countdown clock.
Liftoff is scheduled in 12 minutes from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
SpaceX rocket booster to land on drone ship
Update 2:08 a.m.: This early morning mission will mark the Falcon 9 first-stage booster’s maiden flight, SpaceX reported.
Following stage separation, crews expect this new booster will land on the SpaceX drone ship A Shortfall of Gravitas in the Atlantic Ocean 8½ minutes after liftoff.
SpaceX rocket fueling is now underway
Update 1:59 a.m.: Falcon 9 fueling procedures are now underway at Launch Complex 40, as evidenced by white water vapor billowing from the rocket's exterior.
Liftoff is scheduled in 31 minutes.
Updated SpaceX Starlink satellites to debut in early 2026
Update 1:50 a.m.: In a network update released Tuesday afternoon, Starlink officials announced the company's third-generation satellites should start launching in the first half of 2026 — and they will provide more than 10 times the downlink capacity and 24 times the uplink capacity of today's second-generation V2 Mini satellites.
"Over the past year, Starlink has expanded to 42 new countries, territories and other markets around the world while growing by 2.7 million+ active customers globally and serving more than 6 million and counting with high-speed, low-latency internet," a Starlink update said.
"During that time, the SpaceX team has also launched more than 100 Starlink missions, adding 2,300+ satellites to the constellation, and invested heavily in our ground infrastructure, network backbone, and internal technologies and systems," the update said.

38 minutes: SpaceX launch director verifies “go” for propellant load.
35 minutes: Rocket-grade kerosene and first-stage liquid oxygen loading begins.
16 minutes: Second-stage liquid oxygen loading begins.
7 minutes: Falcon 9 begins engine chill prior to launch.
1 minute: Command flight computer begins final prelaunch checks; propellant tank pressurization to flight pressure begins.
45 seconds: SpaceX launch director verifies “go” for launch.
3 seconds: Engine controller commands engine ignition sequence to start.
0 seconds: Liftoff.
