Iran's Revolutionary Guards said on Tuesday they will target US companies in the region as of April 1 in retaliation for attacks on Iran, state media reported.
The 18 companies listed in the IRGC's threat included Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel, IBM, Tesla, and Boeing.
"These companies should expect the destruction of their respective units in exchange for each terror act in Iran, starting from 8 p.m. Tehran time on Wednesday, April 1," the IRGC statement said.
Later on Tuesday, the US State Department said it was tracking reports of threats against locations where American citizens gather in Saudi Arabia, including hotels, US businesses and educational institutions, and advised US citizens in the country to shelter in place until further notice.
The IDF also announced a Wednesday deadline.
In its case, it is a deadline before which it plans to have destroyed all of the critical and essential pre-war Iran targets, including ones which immediately threatened Israel and those which are part of its wider military-industrial complex.

Iran threatens US, Israeli institutions, officials
Iran had previously threatened to target US and Israeli academic institutions in the region, with Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmail Baghaei, describing them as “legitimate targets” after recent airstrikes against Isfahan University of Technology and Tehran’s Iran University of Science and Technology.
An Iranian military spokesman also reportedly announced several weeks ago that Israeli and US officials and military personnel won't be safe in "resorts and tourist centers around the world," following strikes that killed several Islamic regime officials.
