Did you hear about the latest outrage over Elon Musk’s chatbot, Grok? People were recently using it for nefarious purposes, digitally undressing women and even kids, then circulating those images.
One Sunday, this 27-year-old woman went digging through her 27-year-old husband’s phone and found out that he had downloaded Grok.
She opened it up, and in her husband’s recently deleted section, she came across 10 attempts that he made to digitally undress women he knows.
One woman is her husband’s coworker, another is their neighbor, and a third one is a woman who is easily 30 years older than them or more.
“I am so hurt and shocked. I am contemplating everything right now because this seems highly unethical and borderline cheating,” she explained.
“When I confronted him, he went silent and didn’t want to speak, saying he didn’t know what to say. Now he says he’s really embarrassed and that he just wanted to experiment with the app to see if it would work, which it didn’t.”
“He tried this on at least two different occasions, a few weeks apart. He doesn’t seem very sorry and now gets annoyed every time I try to ask him about it.”
Her husband argued that what he did can be compared to adult content some people enjoy, which she doesn’t view as the same thing in the least.
These women are people her husband personally knows and interacts with, not strangers on the internet. She’s been so upset she cried about it and begged him for more of an explanation, and he yelled at her to shut up.
