Last month, Eilish hit out at several billionaires to their faces and pledged to donate $11.5million (£8.7million) from her tour to charity at the 2025 Wall Street Journal Innovator Awards. The ‘Birds Of A Feather’ artist – who has campaigned vigorously for animal rights and climate justice over the years – took to the stage to highlight how more “empathy” from the wealthiest members of society would make a noticeable difference. “We’re in a time right now where the world is really really bad and really dark, and people need empathy and help more than ever, especially in our country,” she explained. “If you have money, it would be great to use it for good things and maybe give it to some people that need it.” Advertisement She went on to call out to the billionaires who were in the room with her, including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg: “I love you all but there’s a few people in here that have a lot more money than me… and if you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? Give your money away, shorties.” Eilish is currently on the North American leg of her ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ tour, which concludes this weekend.
