A proposed project, called the Trump Magnet Park, aims to create a rare earth refining and manufacturing hub inside the Dhabeji Special Economic Zone (DSEZ) near Port Qasim, just outside Karachi. The 1,530-acre site offers easy access to highways and export routes by sea.
The park would cost between $800 million and $1.5 billion, with funding possibly coming from a mix of US and Pakistani sources — including the US EXIM Bank, DFC loans, and Defense Production programs.
