“Long story short is the car malfunctioned on him,” Gilbert Arenas recently painted a pretty terrifying picture when he sat down on All the Smoke with Matt Barnes. The former NBA star opened up about a nightmare incident involving his 18-year-old son, Alijah. According to Arenas, the teen was driving his Tesla Cybertruck when things suddenly went wrong. He told Barnes that the “steering wheel went limp,” which sent Alijah hurtling straight toward a tree. Is it too much to digest for the $350 billion worth of man who claims he is here to change the world with all his innovation? But Gil didn’t stop the attack right there.

Following that, Arenas went even deeper into what happened next—and it only got scarier. After crashing, the Cybertruck reportedly caught fire while Alijah was still inside. And because of the vehicle’s design, he couldn’t get out. “He’s on the phone with 9-1-1 – I’m trying to get that call—he’s on the phone with them for 10 minutes, so I know he was at least in the car for 10 minutes,” Arenas shared. But now, in a surprising twist, a 47-year-old rapper has jumped in to defend Elon Musk and the much-talked-about Cybertruck!
Defending the Cybertruck can come due to multiple reasons. Some for its practical utility, including impressive towing capacity and durable construction, and for others, the magic is in its electric power-train that provides smooth acceleration and a quiet, comfortable ride. Even the Arenas had it for a reason. In a clip shared by Club Shay Shay, 2 Chainz made it clear where he stands. “I don’t care who, I don’t get into none of the other stuff, right, but my Cybertruck, right, is one of the most comfortable and convenient and easy driving vehicles that I have,” he said.
