Tesla's Model Y smaller SUV is now on sale in the UK with the 315-mile range electric car starting from £54,990
Customers can order two versions of the Model Y on Tesla's site from 8am today
First deliveries are expected to arrive in the UK in early 2022, the US brand says
The Model Y Long Range will be the entry model starting at £54,990
It has a range of 315 miles, hits 60mph in 4.8 secs and a top speed of 135 miles
Model Y Performance will follow with a 298-mile range and top speed of 155mph
Latter can accelerate to 60mph in 3.5 secs - the same as a V10 Audi R8 supercar
