This SUV is the world’s best-selling EV and is priced from Rs 59.89 lakh, ex-showroom. The EV is available in two versions — the standard Rear-Wheel-Drive and Long Range Rear-Wheel-Drive. Tesla has decided not to introduce the Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive in India. With the glitz and glamour of Elon Musk and Tesla, many forget that it’s the company’s state-of-the-art Supercharger network that made the EV manufacturer what it is. With the vast and fast charging network, Tesla was one of the first companies to break the myth that EVs can’t be used for long-distance road trips. With the launch of the Model Y, Tesla has announced that the V4 Supercharger network will be established in India.
