In a widely shared post on X, US-based techie Tylor credited his Tesla Model 3 with saving his life, along with that of his fiancée and their dog. The video shows the car “hesitating” at a green light, refusing to move forward despite the driver’s attempt to proceed. Moments later, a speeding truck slams the vehicle next to the Tesla, which had just started moving through the intersection. “Today, my Tesla Model 3 saved my fiancée, dog, and my life,” Tylor wrote, describing the moment as surreal. He initially believed the car was malfunctioning, but later realised that its split-second hesitation likely saved them from a devastating crash. Tylor also shared dashcam footage of the incident, where viewers can see the truck crashing into the neighbouring vehicle, missing the Tesla by inches. He later checked on the other driver, a young man in his 20s, who was thankfully unharmed. Reactions to the video have flooded in, with users praising Tesla’s safety features. “These cars are getting safer and safer,” one person wrote, while another commented, “So happy everyone was ok. Thank you for this.” Tesla’s India debut The viral video comes at a time when Tesla has officially entered the Indian market, inaugurating its first showroom at Maker Maxity Mall in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.
