Write a comment Tesla India has opened its first showroom in Mumbai, India. The Tesla Model Y, which has been launched at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom), is on display. Bookings are underway and Tesla is taking orders for the Model Y in three cities: Mumbai, Delhi and Gurugram. We expect the next Tesla showrooms to open soon in the latter two cities. The fascia gets a sleek LED light bar and the headlights are placed below in an aggressively styled housing. You get a fully blanked off grille with a small opening in the lower section of the bumper for cooling important components. In profile, it gets muscular haunches above the wheel arches and the sloping roofline gives it a proper sporty look. The India-spec model sits on 19-inch alloy wheels and there are flush door handles to help for better aerodynamic efficiency. Rounding off the overall look is the sleek LED light bar at the rear. Tesla Model Y: Interior Design Step inside the Model Y and you’re greeted by a dashboard that looks minimalistic. There are almost zilch physical controls as almost all of the car’s functions are controlled through the massive 15.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The lower centre console boasts dual wireless phone charging pads and there are plenty of storage places to store your knick knacks.
