However, the on-road prices differ sharply between cities due to varying local taxes and charges. In Mumbai, the Model Y RWD costs ₹61,07,190 on-road, while in Delhi it is ₹61,06,690. In contrast, Gurugram buyers pay ₹66,76,831 — about ₹5.7 lakh more than in Delhi or Mumbai. The price gap is mainly because Haryana charges ₹5,77,141 as road tax and registration fees on the Model Y. In comparison, Mumbai’s road tax and fees are ₹7,500, and Delhi’s are ₹7,000. All three cities include a 1% Tax Collected at Source (TCS) of ₹59,890, a service fee of ₹50,000 (including GST), and a ₹800 Fastag charge.
