The teenager was charged with stunt driving under Ontario’s Highway Traffic Act. As a result, his licence was suspended for 14 days, and the vehicle was impounded for the same period. Let’s hope Dad’s commute to work isn’t too long, or that he has another vehicle.
If, in fact, Dad’s vehicle is a Tesla, that’d mean the driver was clocked going as fast as the Model Y non-Performance trim can go. According to specs, its top speed is limited to 217 km/h.
