AGL Energy will pay tens of millions of dollars to buy Tesla’s 7000-strong network of batteries installed in public housing in South Australia as part of a big push into community power, helping drive growth in green revenue.
The acquisition also includes solar panels on social and community housing and involves 37 megawatts of batteries and 25 megawatts of solar.
