As a child, Jahnavi Dangeti thought the Moon followed her. Today, it’s guiding her toward the stars in the most literal way. The Andhra Pradesh native is all set to make history.

“The programme is meant to prepare us for everything — physically, mentally, and technically,” she said.
Young Achiever With Awards From NASA and ISRO
Jahnavi’s list of accolades is long. She won the People’s Choice Award at NASA’s Space Apps Challenge. She was also honoured with the Young Achiever Award during ISRO’s World Space Week.
On Instagram, she wrote, “As a kid who believed the Moon followed me, I didn’t know it was leading me here. Today, that wonder becomes part of my reality.”
In a few years, that child’s dream will turn into a view from above Earth — making her not just a passenger in space, but a symbol of possibility for many young Indians.
