ABOVE VIDEO: SpaceX is targeting Friday morning for a Falcon 9 launch of 23 Starlink satellites, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities, to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket Friday morning, delivering 23 Starlink satellites—13 of them equipped with Direct to Cell capabilities—into low-Earth orbit.
Liftoff occurred at 11:29 a.m. ET from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
The mission proceeded smoothly within its designated launch window.
The Falcon 9’s first stage booster, flying for the 21st time, had previously supported missions such as Crew-6, SES O3b mPOWER-B, USSF-124, Bluebird 1-5, and 16 earlier Starlink flights.
After stage separation, the booster successfully landed on the droneship A Shortfall of Gravitas stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
