PASCO COUNTY â A 21-yyear-old Land Oâ Lakes man died June 4 after his car ran off the road, struck a utility pole and tree, then caught fire, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The Tesla Model 3 was traveling south on U.S. 41. About 3:20 a.m. north of Goodman Drive when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and departed the roadway.
The vehicle caught fire after the collisions. The driver died at the scene.
