Space plans don’t always stay on schedule. For four astronauts waiting to fly to the International Space Station (ISS), patience has become part of their mission. Axiom Space’s Ax-4 crew will now launch on Tuesday, June 10, instead of the originally planned Sunday, June 8.
The mission, led by the Houston-based company, was first expected to lift off on May 29. But scheduling changes on the ISS prompted the shift to June 8. That date has now slipped again, with no reason provided for the two-day delay. Axiom confirmed the update via a post on X on Monday, June 3.
