BROWNSVILLE, Texas — SpaceX is set to attempt its ninth launch of the Starship spacecraft this evening in South Texas, and it will be streaming live on WFAA+.
The launch window is set to open at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday outside Brownsville.
This is all part of SpaceX CEO Elon Musk's plans to put humans on Mars at some point in the future. The two most recent test launches ended with the Starship spacecraft exploding. An investigation into the loss of Starship on its eighth flight test resulted in several hardware changes being made to increase reliability.
Musk is also set to give a speech following the launch at about 8 p.m.
