(Amanda Cutshall/Community Impact) Bastrop city and county officials confirmed infrastructure updates are underway to accommodate the relocation of Elon Musk's social media company X—formerly known as Twitter—near Hyperloop Plaza in the 800 block of FM 1209. Traffic in that area is another factor to consider, officials said. Jeffrey Barker, Texas Department of Transportation spokesperson, said X is in the permitting process to design and construct additional left- and right-turn lanes on FM 1209.
