Tesla is suing EVject over safety concerns with its EV charging adapter, which reportedly reached 100 degrees Celsius during high-current testing.
Tesla claims the adapter, marketed as fully compatible with its vehicles, could damage its charging cables and is seeking a ban on its import into the US, along with $75,000 in damages.
Despite this, EVject maintains that its product is safe and will protect the charging station plug when disconnected.
